AAA rating highlights DANREC’s strong foundation
For the fifth consecutive year, DANREC has achieved AAA – the highest credit rating awarded by Dun & Bradstreet. The rating documents the company’s financial stability and supports its ambition to invest for the long term in production, products and customer relationships.

New canteen provides a better working environment for employees
DANREC’s growth is evident not only in production and order intake. The number of employees has also increased, creating a need for more space.

New vacuum system provides greater control over recycled raw materials
Around 95% of the raw material used in DAN-Board is recycled plastic from discarded consumer products. This places particular demands on production, as recycled plastic naturally varies from one delivery to another. DANREC’s new vacuum system enables more precise dosing of raw materials, faster responses to variations and the use of a wider range of materials.

New production line to increase capacity and expand the DAN-Board range
Demand for DAN-Board has grown, and DANREC’s existing production capacity is now fully utilised. The company is therefore investing in Line 4, which will increase capacity, shorten delivery times and enable the production of the new DAN-Board Flex.

10 years at DANREC: Freedom is one of the best things about the job
Ten years ago, Klaus Løager joined DANREC in a temporary position. Since then, he has worked in different areas of production, including 12-hour shifts – and today you’ll find him in the warehouse. Along the way, both DANREC and his own working life have changed significantly. But one thing still matters a great deal: the freedom to take responsibility for his own work.

15 years at DANREC: Sales to the core
Jes Eifler has worked as a sales representative at DANREC for 15 years and has experienced the company’s development from a small organisation into an international growth company. For him, sales is first and foremost about relationships, humour and the willingness to always improve a little.

Environmental data that matters – from ambition to documentation
For DANREC, sustainability is not only an ambition, but something that must be measurable and documented. Environmental data provides an overview of energy consumption, CO₂ footprint and resource efficiency – and forms the basis for continuous improvements.

Open House – when community and curiosity meet
Around 300 visitors attended DANREC’s Open House in Karup, where guests gained insight into production, recycling and the company’s work with sustainable solutions. The event highlighted the importance of openness and strong local roots.

Quality in motion – DANREC wins the Quality Award 2025
With the Quality Award 2025, DANREC’s work with quality, digitalisation and AI was recognised as a strong example of modern quality management. The result is greater stability in production, less waste and more efficient workflows.

20 years at DANREC: I wake up happy and go to work
After 20 years in production at DANREC, Lars Engberg Madsen has experienced the company’s development from a small production setup to a modern workplace in growth. For him, the most important things are still job satisfaction and the sense of community with his colleagues.

Stability and responsibility – for people, the environment and business
As part of ARAN Holding, DANREC is part of a group where responsible resource use and economic growth go hand in hand. This shared set of values provides stability and room for long-term development with a focus on the environment, quality and responsible operations.

Nothing goes to waste
A new grinder in production enables DANREC to recycle all offcuts and defective boards directly into new products. The investment reduces both energy consumption and waste – and strengthens the company’s work with circular production.

Space for the future – DANREC invests in long-term growth
DANREC has expanded its total site in Karup by nearly 17,000 m² to create space for future development. The investment supports both increased production capacity and the continued expansion of the company’s green energy infrastructure.

We profit from the green transition
At DANREC, plastic waste from households is transformed into products used across Europe. The company is an example of how the circular economy can create both environmental value and a strong, growing business.
