Becoming a Børsen Gazelle takes more than strong results in a single year. The award is given to companies that have achieved continuous positive growth and at least doubled their revenue or gross profit over a four-year period.
For DANREC, the award therefore marks an important milestone – and a visible result of the company’s development in recent years.
As Henrik Immerkær Ohm, CEO, explains:

It has been built over several years through investments in production, the development of new products and, not least, the tremendous efforts of our employees.”
Investing in the Production of Tomorrow
Growing demand for DANREC’s products has created a need for both increased production capacity and new solutions.
One example is the investment in a new production line, Line 4, which will increase capacity, reduce delivery times and enable DANREC to expand its product range with DAN-Board Flex.
DANREC has also invested in a new vacuum system, providing greater control over recycled raw materials and contributing to more efficient and flexible production.
These investments reflect a long-term approach in which increased capacity, product development and production optimisation go hand in hand.
A Strong Foundation for Growth
However, growth is not just about production and new products. It also places demands on the company’s financial strength and organisation.
For the fifth consecutive year, DANREC has achieved an AAA rating – the highest credit rating awarded by Dun & Bradstreet. This financial stability provides a solid foundation for long-term investments and continued development.
Growth is also reflected in the workplace, where an increasing number of employees has created a need for new facilities. Among other initiatives, DANREC has established a new staff canteen, providing improved facilities for employees and a shared meeting place across the organisation.
A Milestone on the Journey Ahead
The Børsen Gazelle 2026 award recognises the results DANREC has already achieved. But the investments made in recent years are just as much about the future.
The ambition remains to continue developing the company, strengthening production and meeting customer needs – building on the solid foundation established over the years.
