Challenge
A mountain cart track in Tyrol, Austria, needed a solution to reinforce selected sections of the track. The alpine terrain, varying ground conditions, slopes and regular mountain cart traffic place high demands on the stability and durability of the surface.
Solution
Approximately 200 m² of Terra-Grid E® 35 was installed on selected sections of the track to reinforce areas exposed to regular mountain cart traffic. Made from 100% recycled European plastic, the robust ground reinforcement system was selected for its stability, durability and suitability for demanding ground conditions.
Result
The installation is designed to reinforce selected sections of the mountain cart track and provide a stable, durable surface under demanding alpine conditions.
