Challenge
Forestry operations required stable access tracks for forestry machinery and transport vehicles across soft and uneven terrain. At the same time, the forest floor needed to be protected from deep ruts and unnecessary damage.
Solution
In 2024, DANREC supplied more than 1,000 DAN-Board Xtreme ground protection mats to the Polish State Forests. DAN-Board Xtreme was selected for its excellent slip resistance and suitability for heavy machinery.
Result
The solution made it easier to transport timber and equipment while protecting the forest floor from unnecessary compaction and damage. The mats could easily be reused at other work sites.
