Challenge
A heavy truck-mounted crane needed access through a narrow paved area in Budapest. The weight of the vehicle and the pressure generated during the crane operation could potentially damage the paving stones.
Solution
DAN-Board Classic ground protection mats were installed along the access route and beneath the vehicle’s wheels. The mats helped distribute the load across a larger surface and protected the paving stones while the truck and crane were in operation.
Result
The solution provided stable access for the heavy vehicle and allowed the crane operation to be carried out without damaging the paved surface. After the work was completed, the mats could easily be removed and reused.
