Challenge
A shot put area in Herlev, Denmark, needed improved accessibility while maintaining its green surroundings. The aim was to create a more practical and accessible surface without compromising the natural appearance of the sports facility.
Solution
As part of a trial project, approximately 80 m² of Terra-Grid E® 35 was installed to reinforce the area. The ground was excavated and prepared with sand, soil and grass to create a stable, accessible surface while preserving the green character of the surroundings.
Result
The trial project is designed to demonstrate how Terra-Grid E® 35 can combine improved accessibility and functionality with a natural, green appearance. The installation will provide practical experience with ground reinforcement in a sports environment.
