Challenge
Starnberg Animal Shelter in Germany needed a solution to improve its outdoor animal enclosures. The goal was to create stable, durable and well-drained surfaces that remain practical and safe to use in different weather conditions.
Solution
Approximately 200 m² of Terra-Grid E® 35 has been installed in selected outdoor areas. The ground reinforcement grids were laid on a prepared base with the closed side facing upwards and filled with suitable material. Made from 100% recycled plastic, Terra-Grid E® 35 combines a robust, load-bearing structure with natural rainwater drainage.
Result
The installation provides a stable, water-permeable surface designed to improve the usability of the animal shelter’s outdoor areas in both wet and dry conditions. A practical solution that contributes to better everyday conditions for the animals and those who care for them.
