Grass reinforcement at a campsite in the Netherlands

Challenge
A campsite in the northern Netherlands needed a solution to reinforce its grass-covered pitches while maintaining a natural green appearance and providing stable surfaces for caravans, motorhomes and cars.

Solution
A total of 4,500 m² of Terra-Grid E® 35 was installed across the campsite. The grass reinforcement system provides a stable, load-bearing surface while allowing rainwater to drain naturally and grass to grow through the grid.

Result
Six months after installation, the grass has grown completely through the Terra-Grid E® 35, making the grid almost invisible. The campsite has retained its natural green appearance while benefiting from reinforced surfaces designed to withstand vehicle traffic.
